About Us

Our Mission

At Partners in Prayer, our mission is to foster a deep and personal connection with Hashem through the power of prayer. We aim to inspire, educate, and support individuals in their prayer journey, helping them to find solace, strength, and guidance in their daily lives.

Our Vision

We envision a world where prayer is a vibrant and integral part of everyday life, bringing people closer to Hashem and to each other. Through our resources, community initiatives, and educational content, we strive to create an environment where everyone can experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from sincere, heartfelt prayer.

The Birth of Partners in Prayer

Partners in Prayer emerged during the tumultuous time when COVID-19 hit, shaking the world and bringing turmoil to many lives. Faced with such an unprecedented event, it became clear that it was not something to ignore but rather an opportunity to respond with prayer and deepen our relationship with Hashem.

Encouraged by the guidance of HaRav Simcha L. Weinberg, Shlita, a group of individuals united to study the words of the Shavuos Machzor, discovering profound applications for our present circumstances. We shared diverse inspirations and thoughts, using the rich language of the siddur to personalize our prayers and make them relevant to our lives. This collaborative effort resulted in a book filled with insights from all who participated, bringing our prayers to life and deepening our connections.

Shortly after, we received an urgent request for help from someone whose child had suffered a severe head injury. Under the guidance of Rabbi Weinberg, Shlita, the first Partners in Prayer group was formed, comprised of a dedicated group of individuals committed to this sacred work. Since then, many more groups have followed, highlighting the critical need for all of us to master the art of prayer. Thus, Partners in Prayer was born, with the mission to empower and inspire through the transformative power of prayer.

Our Community

Partners in Prayer is driven by a dedicated team, but we consider all who partake in this sacred work to be partners in prayer. Whether you are inspired to pray more deeply and with greater kavana individually, share your prayer inspirations with others, or study the words of the siddur, you are a valuable part of our community. Together, we make our conversation one of prayer, all day, every day, connecting us as a powerful unit.

We enjoy ongoing support and guidance from Rabbi Simcha L. Weinberg, Shlita, who continues to be the inspiration and continuous guide for this cause. Rabbi Chaim Goldberger, a disciple of Harav Yaakov Weinberg, zt”l, and Harav Yochanan Zweig, shlita, has also made himself available to answer any questions that may come up and has been a great source of support for us.

Testimonial

Mordechai K. shares his experience: "Partners in Prayer for me, expanded my relationship with Hashem, taking my learning and applying it to my davening (praying). At first when I began praying, I would read the words but did not really know what it meant to connect to what I was praying. Thanks to my teachers and Partners in Prayer, my relationship to my learning, Torah, and my prayers became much more dynamic, meaningful, healing, and beautiful."
